Real vs. Fake Finishing Touch Flawless Hair Remover | #ChicSassyMomFinds

Annyeong, cinggu! πŸ€—One can never have too many selfies (totally agree, but my boys would rather digress on this matter πŸ˜‰),  but oh well, with Finishing Touch I can always be selfie ready, just in case.

Original/Real FLAWLESS™ By Finishing Touch®
I have fine upper and lower lip facial hairs. Though fine, but they're black, so they tend to leave shadows and they're unsightly to my liking. Those are times, I don't do selfies at all. Hahaha I mostly do threading, painful, but oh well no pain, no gain. Once in a while I go for waxing. Sometimes,  when I have time and/or feeling like not spending, I tweeze. Thank goodness for the Finishing Touch Flawless Facial Hair Remover, easy peasy, removes facial hairs instantly and pain free. From my experience, hair don't grow back dark and coarse. I usually apply a toner with tea tree oil after each session, I massage the upper and lower lips. So no irritations, redness, and breakouts. That's a very important, lifesaving πŸ˜…(because I'm vain) life hack to keep off breakouts after waxing or threading.

The deal is I wanted to get my sister and mom one to use in the Philippines. I was feeling super comfortable with Amazon, so I bought a set (Tool and replacement heads), price is the same from Ulta, Target or Walmart. If you've just noticed, I kept saying Finishing Touch not just Flawless Hair Remover, because the Finishing Touch is a brand. I'd rather get the branded, original hair remover tool and replacement heads. To my surprise, this is what I got.
Clearly, No Finishing Touch branding from the packaging and no Flawless branding on the tool. From the box, you will not spot the Flawless branding (see photo on top), it's at the other end. I did not open the replacement heads because they're just placed in a brown envelope. I can tell at the onset. The beauty of Amazon is the return policy, easy, no frills. I quickly triggered a return, went to UPS, and days after shipping them back for free, I got my refund.  Quickly went to Target and got the real, authentic Finishing Touch. Best to get them at authorised resellers.
From Target, Finishing Touch Flawless Hair Remover $19.99+ and Replacement Heads $12.99+
Finishing Touch Flawless Hair Remover works for me. Thank you for my friends for gifting this to me...super lifesaver especially when in California (when a trip for a brow and lip threading is super expensive that what I'm used to when in Manila, miss you so much, The Brow Studio).

#Selfie #Selca πŸ˜‰
Anyhow, since DIY is the way to thrive...oh how I love thee, Finishing Touch. Selfie away! 🀳🏼Cheers! ✌🏻

#KetoDietForever | Shirataki Rice 🍚 #KetoBibimbap #MiracleRice

Annyeong! πŸ€—My consolation for going with Keto is I can eat Korean BBQ to my heart's content...the fattier, the better, melts in your mouth *slurp! Chadol baegi forever! πŸ˜‹I just have to avoid japchae and bibimbap. But at home, not anymore, thank you drama gods, with shirataki, I can eat Korean drama-inspired food! Yass! πŸ‘ŠπŸΌ

Shirataki Rice 🍚 by Miracle Rice for $16.81+ , I got 6 bags of assorted Miracle Noodle and Rice (2 packs each of Angel Hair, Fettuccini, and Rice 🍚). Also, available on the official website of Miracle Rice.
Truly, it's a miracle. It's from Japanese Konjac plant so it's super low calorie and low carb. But, it's filling at the onset, and it taste like rice, except crunchier. Al dente. Hah. Super easy to cook, drain, wash with cold water, there's a slight fishy scent, but it will go away after boiling for 2 minutes, drain again. Pan dry, and dinner is served!!!
Let's eat! Meogja!
Finally, I can eat bibimbap (Korean rice topping with beef, vegetables (I use kimchi), sesame oil, bean paste, fried egg if you like) whenever I'm craving. Because the kimchi and the shitaki mushrooms are crunchy, the rice fits just right.
One pack is good enough for two meals. I saved the rest for a hearty Filipino meal, Corned beef and Egg. Sarap! πŸ³

Brunch + Bulletproof coffee
Daebak! Seriously, can they just make shirataki chips too, please?! Four things that make me cheat and give up on keto is noodle (If you're just dropping by for shirataki rice, please don't forget to check out my post about shirataki noodle, because, yes, oh happy day, you can also eat japchae even on keto! πŸ‘ŒπŸ»), rice, chocolate and potato chips. I have keto noodle and rice now. I also have a keto chocolate cupcake. I only need a keto potato chips (it can't be pork rinds all the time πŸ˜‰). I'm hopeful. Let's do this! Aja! Aja! Fighting! ✌🏻

#KetoDietForever | Shirataki Pasta 🍝#MiracleNoodle

Yasssss! πŸ’ƒπŸ»I'm super hopeful with Shirataki Pasta. I think I'll have fewer reasons and excuses to cheat, and just maybe I'll seriously do stay on keto, truly be "payat" not just look like one πŸ˜…. #DietForever

Miracle Noodle Angel Hair Shirataki Pasta
Shirataki Pasta is like an answered prayer for a forever hopeful, struggling dieter like yours truly. I'm super happy to find them available on Amazon.  For $16.81+ , I got 6 bags of assorted Miracle Noodle and Rice (2 packs each of Angel Hair, Fettuccini, and Rice 🍚). And take that, it's same day delivery!!! I love, love, love Amazon Prime.
Here's the product description I got from the official website.
Miracle Noodle Miracle Noodle Angel Hair is the perfect addition to any health-conscious eater's cache. These delicious angel hair shirataki noodles are thin and airy, so they make a great starting point for many tasty Italian entrees! What are shirataki noodles, exactly? Unlike typical noodles, which are made of flour or grains, shirataki noodles are made of the Japanese konjac plant - which means they're essentially 97 percent water and 3 percent soluble fiber - so they're much better for you.
Each serving of Miracle Noodle Angel Hair contains zero calories and less than 1 gram of carbs. In fact, that small carb content is only from the fiber and a natural calcium additive that helps the noodles keep their shape.
Zero calories, soy-free, gluten-free, cholesterol-free. Made with non-GMO ingredients. Contains less than 1 gram of carbs per serving (only from fiber). Made in the U.S.
I'm proud to say that I make good spaghetti, and the downside, whenever I cook it, I cheat. 🀦🏻‍♀️ Not for long, this shirataki noodle is miraculous. Pinky promise. I was expecting the healthy-not-so-tasty-kind of alternate, but oh my,  seriously, it tastes normal/regular. Not diet food. I'm over the moon! πŸ€—

Easy peasy. Drain the water. Rinse with cold water, there's a weird scent but it will not stay once boiled for 2 minutes. Drain. Then pan fry, no oil,  in medium heat until all water is out, and noodles are dry. Al dente. πŸ‘ŒπŸ»
Keto Shirataki Spaghetti πŸ˜‹
One pack can be good for two servings. I put so much sauce and cheese that's why. Hahaha.

Korean Japchae with Shirataki Pasta πŸ₯‘
So I'm just happy to eat pasta for a while without feeling guilty. I will try the fettuccini and rice (really, rice, for real!?) next. I will keep you posted on my progress. More often than not, fan meetings inspire me to commit. I'm thinking of going to one this August. Hah. ✌🏻So, let's do this! Aja! Aja! Fighting! πŸ‘ŠπŸΌ
