On trial period: No-Visa entry for transit passengers at Incheon Airport

Annyeonghaseyo! ^^ Quick update...I will have an extended layover at the Incheon Airport for my upcoming December trip. I'm hoping to hit two birds in one stone. First off, finally visit my dream destination ever... Seoul, albeit short time, and spend Holidays and my birthday to the land of the free, home of the brave. Read it from a couple of site (herehere, and here too), and verified it in the Official Visit Korea site of the ongoing program, which is Visa-free for transit passengers to South Korea provided availing of a guided tour from authorized tour agencies (Hana or OMI). Nice. I will try it, and will let you know. It's under evaluation, hopefully it gets positive results, so it's Asiana all the time. ;-D

Here's my screen capture from the Site of Korea Tourism Org. Click on the link above for more details.
I have yet to decide, Hana or OMI, any suggestions?

This calls for a celebration! ^^ Cheers! ;-D

Almost Wordless Wednesday: Lucky Shoes

Luckiest Shoes ever. ;-D
#SaleFinds from CMG  (Celine Mix Group). Nice one! ^^
OOTD: Black & White and a touch of Red for a Blog Event at Makati Shangri-la
Folded Slacks...going for DIY crop pants  for a more casual vibe for my Lee Min Ho Mall Tour. ;-D I know, I've read and been told, that going for capris or cropped pants is a bit tricky and risky for a short plump girl like me. Oh well, I wanted to show off the booties. ^^
My pair of peep toe booties. ;-D Pretty, and already so comfy on my 3rd soiree with them. The mid heels are just about right. Gives off that needed nice elevation, that is still wearable for a mom that's all over the place. ;-D
Seriously the luckiest pair in a bunch, it's what I had on when I had a stroke of beginner's luck on my first fan girling stint! Hah.

Lee Min Ho Moments @Benchtm #MeetandGreet @Makati Shangri-la

I was just at the right place, at the right time! Perfection. I was attending a blog event last November 18 in Makati Shangri-la. So stalking Lee Min Ho was a bit rationalized. I'm mighty glad that I had a mall tour pass from last time. It's not the meet and greet, but at least we're nicely seated in front! ;-D Oh, I did not see him going out for the 3pm Skydome Mall Tour, so I was beginning to lose hope whether I will ever see him at the hotel. Imagine my surprise! Without further ado, here's the day that I died, and went to heaven, my Lee Min Ho-filled day and night.
#LeeMinHo #FanGirl He was within reach. Seriously! ;-D If only, I was that crazy, I'd probably be able to grab him. Hah,
Full House in the New Activity Center, Glorietta 1 for the Lee Min Ho Mall Tour! #Blockbuster #HitMaker

There were several lucky ones who were able to get up close and personal onstage with Minho-ssi. #EnvyMuch Sam Oh was the host/interpreter. Oh my, she's amazing! Here I go again, I wish I can speak Korean. I would have traded my 6 modules/2 Years of French for it in a heartbeat! Anyhow, I will not bore you with my emotional outbursts, read on my thoughts on Twitter. ;-D
My thoughts! ;-D Please follow me on Twitter @chicsasymom
As per suggestion of a lucky fan, Lee Min Ho had Adobo for Dinner! ;-D It's Cafe Juanita's Two Way Pork Adobo, I recognized the crispy pork floss and the fancy seat covers.  Photo Credit: Official LMH Facebook Page
It's nice to finally meet Marge of Kikay Trekkie. Now I know what's her anti-aging and prettifying secrets. ^^ It's great to share the moments with friends, in fairness, I'm just one in a million fan girl. ;-D

Last Minute Hall from Bench. My outfit for the day. Lose My Heart LMH
All photos were taken from my beloved iPhone 4S. And I was seated at the upper box, so I can only watch from above and take photos from the screen, albeit comfortably seated. Whew ^^ #GoodMove I had a Patron Ticket but opted to take that day's offer to go UB and get a free Mall Tour Pass for the November 18 in the New Activity Center of Glorietta 1. November 18, 2012 was the day that I died, and went to heaven. *LoL So please do watch out for my next post. It's something! Here's a teaser, I got an autographed ticket and photo. And how I did, speaks so highly of the Korean Superstar, Lee Min Ho, saranghaeyo! ;-D

First Impression: Skin79 Scandal Rose & Vanilla BB Cream

Annyeonghaseyo! I'm inspired (Lee Min Ho is coming! *LoL), so here's a Seoul-ful post, I did mention this thing of beauty from Skin79 last time,  here it goes...

Skin79 Scandal Rose & Vanilla BB Cream 10ml Miniature
Product Description c/o eBay: With light and refreshing texture, the triple functional BB cream that sweeps into the skin without stickiness maintains the oil and moisture balance and protects the skin from UV A and B. In addition, the BB cream keeps the skin clean and supple with its skin-lightening and wrinkle-improving capabilities.

Reinforced Benefits: Whitening/ Wrinkle Improvement UV interception SPF 50+ PA+++ [KFDA 3 Function Certification]

Full Size comes in 35g.
So nice. Better coverage than Skin79 VIP Gold Collection Super BB Cream. Love the scent. Light, easy to blend. Silky and Matte (;-D)  finish. SPF 50+, PA+++  for the win! ;-D
FOTD: Skin79 Scandal Rose & Vanilla BB Cream/ Skin Food Sweet Potato Hydra Cushion Pact/ Eyes: Majolica Majorca Lash King in Brown/ Eye Liner: Urban Decay Gun Metal from Vegan Palette/ Blush: Majolica Majorca Customize Blush/Lips: SkinFood Black Bean Lip Liner No. 3 Peach Pink/ Lebelage Lip Gloss No. 5
#Instagram of course, not to be missed! ;-D
I won it on eBay a while back, but it sells for P200 for the miniature trial size. But I only used it recently after having a mighty great time with my first Skin79 BB Cream. Glad I did, it's almost perfection, as in! Only leaves teeny bit of white cast, medium to build-able coverage, and the silky and matte finish, etc....super nice. I can go for a couple of hours looking great without setting powder/pact. I'm just about ready to commit in getting the full size. Except, there's a it just me and my sensitive skin, or must be those days?! Coincidentally in the couple of times I used it, I seemed to have minor breakouts. I know, I have to do it at least three consecutive days (or a week even) to really tell. But you ought to know, I'm not that adventurous and brave, so the first sign of trouble, I run! Hmmm. Sad. Because it's really very nice. But fret not, I will give it another go and I will let you know! I want to hear your thoughts though. Cheers! ;-D

NOTW: More Zoya at Manos Nail Lounge

Hello there. I have some pretty nails to show off. Look here. ;-D

Zoya Sooki and Lara
Red and Pink #Cute
Manicured Nails at Manos Nail Lounge.  Super love the tender loving care extended to my royal petite nails. *LoL
Zoya Sooki. Zoya offers lasting and vibrant colors. I like.
Since Manila was a bit traffic-free last time, a drive to The Fort was a-okay. I had a GC for Manicure (Thanks!;-D), just paid for the additional Pedicure. Mani + Pedi is at Php 400+ . Cheaper than getting it at P250 each, which is the going rate for mall based nail salons. If only Manos is not a bit far from home, it will be my go-to place.
The accompanying massage of the Mani + Pedi is super nice. And the, love it. More ravings here. Will be back for more. Cheers! ;-D

Love: MOMents with JOHNSON'S BABY Milk Bath & Lotion

You ought to know that we are loyal patrons of the brand. So it's always twice the love and delight to be part of the events by Johnson's Baby. The recent was a day dedicated to caring for mommies with its Nourishing Spa treat, plus indulgence to good skin food, plus a lot more as nourished skin is not just soft-looking, but foremost a skin that is both healthy inside and out. And yes, Johnson's Baby Milk goodness is not just for best for babies but for mommies too. Yay! The day off provided my much needed reprieve from the hustle and bustle of homemaking and working. So yes, I'm back to my usual happy mode. And when I am, homemaking is all in a day's work. ;-D

Johnson's Baby Milk Mom's Nourishing Spa Day at Watson's SM Makati.
The event showcased good Skin Foods (Chocolates, Nuts, Yogurt, and more), as it also espouses eating right to look and feel right. Plus a cooking demo with Celebrity Chef Mom Rosebud Benitez.
The Johnson's Milk Nourishing line is a certified house brand. It's a variant that we all love (me, hubby, and son). As aforesaid, we have years-long of patronage. The line consistently leaves lingering great scent all day, with each reinforcing more the goodness. And best of all, you get that nourishing and moisturizing goodness with its Milk Proteins and Vitamins A and E ingredients. It's only every so often that we can actually share a skin care item, because you ought to see our bathroom counters, we have different scent, and brand preferences. Naturally, I made sure that we use products based on our skin types, preferences, and needs. But we have Johnson's Milk Bath for sharing, with its time proven and tested nourishing, caring, and cleansing benefits not just for my son, but mine (plus dad) too. ;-D And yes, this makes shopping easier and economical too. And the love just multiplied by a couple more, because the Johnson's Baby Milk Bath and Lotion reinforce a new proposition, a nourishing spa-ish experience. Naturally, with the milky goodness, yes they can!

My favorite part, signature Johnson's Baby Milk Nourishing Hand wash and massage with the Milk Bath and Lotion.
Enjoy spa-ish indulgence with Johnson's Milk Baby Lotion with Double Nourishing Ingredients for Smooth and Fair Skin.
My spa buddy, Chase. Now with Johnson's Milk bath and lotion, more home spa moments with him. Thanks to a baby massage routine that I also learned of years ago from Johnson's Baby Oil, he acquired a penchant for massage. ;-D
Johnson's Baby Milk Bath,  Baby Powder and Baby Lotion, and Skin Food (Chocolates, Nuts, Coffee).  Skin can and should be nourished not only by having a right and aptly suited skin care routine, but also on eating right! We love.
We just have a whole lot of good times with these, plus had a great time munching on the nuts and chocolates. Johnson's Baby is such a reliable baby and child care brand, that makes mommyhood a bit easier, as it takes care of baby's daily skincare woes. And best of all, have some good time with it, be it a bath, play, and sleep time, all with good moments to remember by. A couple of weeks ago, amidst traffic and my usually uncanny taxing day, I made sure to attend my son's school Parents' Encounter. It's very meaningful, heartwarming, and reflective. My greatest takeaway perhaps is that we have to choose to create good memories, meaning it's a conscious effort, an act, and a decision to do so. We don't live it by chance that happy memories will come by. And these sweet memories, aptly called moments (*Wink), will carry each and every one of us through in bad times. This made me do accounting, pondered just how much is my son's to-date balance of such momentous events, I am blessed to feel at ease that in the best of our ability, we always by choice make every moment counts. I fondly remembers moments with Johnson's Baby.

Like Johnson's Baby Philippines on Facebook. Visit Watson’s, to get to know how you can get a sample of Johnson's Baby Milk Bath and Lotion. Cheers! ;-D

Review: Innisfree Apple Juicy Cleansing Oil

Annyeonghaseyo! I have more Lee Min Ho Innisfree goodness to share. I have this from my not so recent Seoul shopping c/o Mommy Wendy. It's a GWP. Every so often, when I run out of my ever reliable waterproof eye makeup remover, I reach for this. Not to preempt, but it does the trick of removing usually hard to remove eye mascara.

Innisfree Apple Juicy Cleansing Oil 25ml
Product Description: This deep cleansing oil offers softness and healthy radiance to your skin like a freshly washed apple.

From what I reckon, naturally it has Vitamin C, and can clean and purify without leaving makeup and oily residues. Innisfree similarly is a brand that espouses natural ingredients. I use a lot of other Innisfree products for my intricate skincare routine. So yes, it's a brand that I really like too.

Full Size comes in 150ml bottle, for 13,000 KRW.

Recommended Usage:  Apply an appropriate amount onto dry hands and gently smooth over dry face to dissolve makeup. Add water with fingertips and massage to remove makeup. Rinse off with lukewarm water afterwards.

I use it solely for removing eye makeup. I usually use cotton pads, I run out. So regular cotton balls will do for now, but you have to flatten it out so as not to use a lot of the oil. Because the cotton needs to be really soaked with oil. I used two cotton balls per eye, one under my eye, for cushion and  reinforcement in getting all the makeup, top and bottom. And so as not to get more makeup under the eye. With eyes shut close, I let the other cotton stay for about 60 seconds, then ever so gently work itself in removing the mascara and makeup.

Oh excuse my brows, I have yet to go to Benefit. Top: With Majolica Majorca Mascara, Urban Decay Shadow as liner. Middle:  Immediately after Innisfree Apple Juicy Cleansing Oil. To note, Urban Decay is a bit hard to remove as well. Bottom: After regular facial foaming wash, Innisfree Jujubija Facial Foam. Washed on regular water temperature.
Seriously, it does the trick. No oily residue at all. Best part, no cloudy vision at all. No stinging. So it's definitely a keeper. It's fresh apple scented. Just the right scent, lingers, but doesn't overpower.

The Skin Shop and The Majolica Majorca are waterproof, and uber hard to remove. Let's see.
After rubbing. The UD Eye Pencil was gone. After Innisfree Apple Juicy Cleansing Oil, all gone! Notice that there's no redness too, because the pressure was still ever so gently applied but it still worked.
Overall, I'd like to say that this is a definitely a better option than Skin Food's Black Sugar Cleansing Oil. In as much as I love SkinFood, I have to go for Innisfree's Apple Juicy Cleansing Oil in this line. Same bottle concept, same fruity scented with Vitamin C and other reinforced skin benefits from the natural ingredients. Both also offer deep cleansing, and pore purifying a la squeaky clean feel. Minus the cloudy vision in Innisfree's. So yes, it's a keeper! Will I repurchase? Oh well, since I only have limited access to Innisfree in my part of the world, I'm seriously considering pre-ordering to online local sellers. In fact, this is a more economical alternative than going for makeup tissue removers. So yes, will definitely get the full size. Cheers! ;-D
