#ChicSassyMomEats | Miki Bistro Sushi Overload 🍣 #TurningJapanese

Konnichiwa! 🤗

I'm also turning Japanese, I really think so. (I'm missing Japan) For the love of me, I cannot get enough of sushi (yes, meaning, I can't give up rice, just yet). 😅

A long time ago, I discovered baked, fried sushi. It was love at first try. In Manila, it was only last year that Ooma (in SM Megamall) came along. Happily, luckily, I found one in Fremont. Oh Miki Bistro, you had me at sushi.

Complimentary Edamame, and Free Spicy Salmon Chips Appetizer when checking in on FB.
Sushi on my mind. Yum! 😋

Lion King Roll $10.95 California Roll dressed up in filet of salmon, perfectly baked, tobiko.
Lion King Roll. Roar. Happiness.
Spy vs. Spy $13.95
Shrimp Tempura, Spicy Crab, Topped with Spicy Tuna, Avocado...divine!
Honey Crunch Roll $10.95 Shrimp Tempura, Crab Meat, Top withe Mango, Honey Walnut and House Special Sauce...goody!
To go, Dynamite Roll $9.95 Crab meat, avocado, topped with mix fish spicy mayo baked to perfection with unagi sauce, tobiko. Nomnomnom.
Word for the day. Tobiko are those little orange balls on top of the sushi.
Tobiko is one of the most prized sushi roe, valued as a finishing touch and garnish to rolls as well as enjoyed on its own by true lovers of the dish. Tobiko is the roe of tropical flying fish, which are known for their ability to leap into the air at speeds of over 40 mp/h. Tobiko adds a splash of color and its unmistakeable crunchy texture to many different rolls, including the popular California roll. If you eat sushi regularly, it is a good bet you have enjoyed Tobiko in your life. - Source
Oh Miki, you're so fine, you blow my mind.

Miki Bistro is located at  Address: 39156 Paseo Padre Pkwy Fremont, Ca 94538
When in California, I settle with not dining out as frequent as we did back when we're in Manila. My Korean fix, gladly, thankfully, I get it at home, easy peasy samgyupsal, kimchi jjigae, galbijim, and kimchi all I like. Same with American food...steaks, burgers, and what have you, name it. Just because,  Lucky Supermarket, Trader Joe's and Costco got it all for you. 😉 But for Japanese food, I can't do diy, unless somebody send me to Japan for intensive cooking lesson (I volunteer!🙋🏻)  Oh my, sushi, sashimi, bento boxes, ramen are just to die for.  So I don't think I can give up on rice just yet. Okay, maybe once in a while.  Cheers! 🍷

About Me

My photo

Wifey to JB and Mommy to Chasey :) It's said that one's eyes are windows to one's soul. True! My eyes twinkle when I'm happy, they light up with my smile. I’m no frills! I'm easy to read (except during Poker). I easily get teary eyed on practically both happy and sad things. I'm overly emotional! UP,Toy Story 3, and Glee made me cry with delight. My hubby is my source of strength. He balances that side of my personality. He made me a more self-reliant person.I love being a mom. But be it known that I tend to be OC, paranoid, and definitely see my self as a stage mom.I can't help but throw him parties every year.I love to read. If there is a lifetime membership to Book Lover's Club, I've probably signed in as early as Grade 1. I'm blessed to have a special relationship with God. He is my confidante. I practically talked to him anywhere and anytime about anything. I'm a Kapampangan and supposedly known for having culinary skills. This still needs to be found perfected, but for sure, I can say I'm a gourmand!I love to eat and it shows!Oh well!Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder and Happiness is only a state of mind. From today onwards, I intend to live in a Happy Mode!Cheers!
