#ChicSassyMomFinds | Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Blackhead 3 Step Program

Annyeong, cinggu! ;-D

I miss my motherland (South Korea) more than ever! πŸ˜‚ Please bear with the crazy ramblings of an ahjumma fangirl, it's just my Seoul sisters went to visit last weekend, and I did not join them. Utter sadness. #Dramagirl

So here's a Seoul-ful post to keep me occupied.

Jeju Volcanic Blackhead 3 Step Program contains volcanic scoria components that remove blackheads.
It's a blackhead remover product from the popular line of Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Mask.  Other variations are the nose pack (single) sheet, blackhead out balm, liquid nose pack, and 3 in 1 nose pack.

Not to preempt, I haven't tried the liquid nose pack and the 3 in 1 nose pack, so among the 3 in 1 Step Program, blackout balm, and the nose pack sheet, I'm liking the 3 in 1 Step program best. In fact, to date,  for me, it's the best one ever. I hoarded a whole bunch of these in Althea for gifting and for moi while I'm in the USA since it's so expensive to get a facial here. Haha.

Click on link for more details on how to use the Inisfree Jeju Volcanic Blackhead 3 Step Program.
Step 1 opens up pores for effective blackhead removal.
Step 2 removes blackheads intensively
Step 3 tightens pores in areas and calms redness
Ew. I spy with my little eye...blackheads. It works.
Brace yourself for step 2, it works because it really is truly, madly sticky hence painful to remove. I was worried. But then Step 3 works like magic. ✨ All the redness and pain were gone.

Will I repurchase? I definitely did and will do when I'm out of stocks.

Will I recommend? I gifted it to my aunts and cousins. My aunt, I had to give her a disclaimer on how it ouchy Step 2 is, but I said Step 3 should take care of it. She liked it. She's now a fan. I just love getting recruits to Korean Cosmetic fandom. Cheers! ;-D

#ChicSassyMomFinds | Bath & Body Works Semi-Annual Sale + Coupon Ending very soon

Hello, beautiful! Semi annual sale...oh happy day! πŸ’ƒπŸ»

I lurve Bath & Body Works, I hoard it like cray cray. Except I still have a lot from last December's sale. So with a lot of self-control, I did not buy as much. πŸ™…πŸ»

Sale finds. That will do for now, that'll do! πŸ˜…
20% off any purchase of $25 or more valid until June 26, 2017 only

Chic & Sassy Tip 1: Coupons are emailed. So subscribe to their site. Or register when you do a purchase in store. Some seasonal coupons are given out after a purchase. So don't panic buy (note to myself).

Chic & Sassy Tip 2: One coupon code after another, control your urge (note to myself), except for my favorite coupon of "Free gift up to $14 for every $10 purchase". One coupon code at a time for online purchase. There's a seasonal promotion of free shipping, if you use that, then you can't do 20% off or $10 off. Best to shop at the physical store unless sale variants are running out in the store, so best bet is to get them online.

Follow me on IG or Twitter @chicsassymom , will share coupon codes. I love coupons and promotion codes, I feel like I saved, good job. I deserve a treat, hence, I can buy more. Hah. Cheers! ;-D

#NOTW | Me time at Hello Nails and Spa Vacaville πŸ’…πŸΌπŸ’†πŸ»

Hello from super sunny California. 🌴☀️ Summer here is hmmm. πŸ€” It's all Fitflop and Birkenstock, hence need to keep my toes pretty. I failed painting my own toe nails, plus there's some soreness on the side of the big toe, so I had no choice but to visit a nail salon in California.

With my cousin's recommendation, we went to Hello Nails and Spa in Vacaville. Sorry, no photo of the facade of the salon as it was a super hot day.
It's a good day to chillax.

We booked an appointment so we were ushered right away.

Massage Chair. So nice. #ExcitedMuch

#ChicSassyMomTravels | Matina Transit Hotel Incheon

Annyeong, cinggu!

After our free Korea Transit Tour, we had more hours to go before our 8pm flight. There's ongoing renovation in the airport for the transit amenities, only the shower area is open. We checked out the rates of Matina lounge and the hotel. If we do lounge, we can stay for two hours and eat to our hearts' content. Personally, I don't want to be too full whenever we fly, and we can all use power naps and refreshing baths. So we decided to go to the hotel for a 6-hour stay, which was just in time for boarding.

Team Doligosa checking in. Our walk-in rate for the three of us was for $105 USD
Hotel Hallway
Deluxe Room
Toilet and Bath (tub and shower)
Complimentary Coffee and Tea in-room amenities
Discounted Matina Lounge rates for Room Guest
We had a nice and sleep and bath to get ready for our 13 hours flight to LA. I love.

One hour before our time was up, we went down for dinner. I love, love, love the food hall. Of course, we ordered Korean. Jalmokegetsumnida. I will eat very well, thank you!

#ChicSassyMomFinds + #FOTD | Favorite Contact Lens Solution and Case

It has been a long time since I updated my contact lens new user's post, it was mostly hit-and-miss so I try to diligently wear contact lens everyday for years now (except during those lazy days, which are sort of a lot 🀦🏻‍♀️),  with matching Bausch and Lomb Bio true for the solution.

Bausch Lomb Bio True works like your eyes. πŸ‘ŒπŸ»
It must be that the Bio true, truthfully works like magic, which makes it extra easy peasy to wear lenses.

Right here are my favorite contact lens cases, they're flippable and you can really tell Left from Right. Haha. πŸ€—
Since we will be in California for a while, it's good to know how much are the Acuvue Oasys in Costco.
Sometime ago, I wear Toric lenses for my astigmatism, they're harder and fits the eyes like a vacuum tight, there was a time when it was just so hard to remove them, I was worried that they got lost somewhere inside my eye, which I learned is impossible πŸ˜….  If it's stuck somewhere, you will feel the irritation, that "foreign body sensation".

Chic & Sassy Tip 3: (Tip 1 and 2, on my previous post, please click link above) If it's seems so hard to remove it, but you're sure it's there, move the lens away from the center of the pupil (black part) of the eye, only then the vacuum is removed, and off it goes.

Here's my no makeup, and lazy day with a super affordable prescription glasses I got from Look Korea on my last Seoul trip.
#OOTD #FOTD with Tom Ford Sunnies, Innisfree, Galifornia Blush by Benefit Cosmetics, Kylie Matte Lipkit in Koko K (2nd Picture) and Posie K (4th Picture).
As always, personally, the best thing about wearing the contact lens is so I get to wear my favorite shades. Plus it's easy to watch 3D movies. 😎 Cheers! ;-D

#ChicSassyMomTravels | Free Korea Transit Tour

Annyeong, cinggu! So happy that my boys finally visited my motherland, South Korea ,via Incheon's airport free Korea transit tour. ✌🏻#OnceaFangirlAlwaysaFangirl

I originally wanted to bring them to Seoul for our summer vacation, but we ended up going back to California, so I made sure to take Asiana  for a free transit tour for a short but always sweet stay. Sometime ago, I had to pay $50 for a Seoul transit tour, though there were a couple more sights included. There are several choices for Seoul City Tour, though via online Korea tour reservation, I could only book the afternoon Myeongdong and Namsan Tower tour. I was hoping to do morning tour  that does more sights, like the palace and the Bukchon Hanok Village (where oppa Lee Min Ho's Personal Taste was filmed).

Free Korea Transit Tour Desk at the Arrival Hall after Immigration
While it's recommended to do online reservation, they do accept walk-in on a first come, first served basis. Arriving 6am, there was a tourist counter before the immigration. We made our inquiry and reservations through her, she gave us the brochure and the tour details we can take. (Nope, we're not early enough to join the Seoul City Tour that includes Bukchon.) We went through the immigration process to the arrival hall where the Transit Tour desk was located.

For more details, visit the official site for the visa-free entry for transit passengers.

We have more than 10-hours layover, we were booked for a morning and an afternoon tour. The morning tour, which is inclusive of lunch, requires upfront payment of $10 or 10000 KRW. Won is cheaper, but we didn't plan to spend as much so we didn't change money so we paid by USD. By 8am, we're ready to go. Unlike Taiwan's transit tour, we have a bigger group, about 40 of us.

Hello, Seoul! πŸ€—
Ahjumma in Hanbok. I want. πŸ™‹πŸ»
Out and about in Gyeongbokgung Palace
We were given enough time to look around and do photo ops, but not enough time do to watch the Changing of the guards at 10 am.

Next stop was at Insadong for lunch and some free time for shopping.

Korean Tour Insadong Lunch at one of the restaurant.
Bulgogi. πŸ˜‹ Choices are either a Bibimbap or Bulgogi.
Out and about in Insadong. Rent Hanbok here. πŸ‘°πŸ»
We were given some free time to look around and to shop. Insadong features mostly stores that sells traditional arts and crafts, and some beauty stores like Innisfree.  If you want overload of fashion and beauty shops, Myeongdong is it.

Then we're back to the airport. We were booked for an afternoon, Myeongdong and Namsan Tower tour. But we were tired since we had a midnight flight from Clark. We stayed at Matina Transit Hotel (click link for the review) for the rest of the day until our evening flight for Los Angeles.

Though, with my successive visits to Seoul, I can hold my own to host a city tour for them, but it will be more expensive, Limousine Bus to Myeondong already goes for 10000-15000 KRW per person.  I do hope I can bring them for a longer visit soon, and hope they'll love it as much as I do. (Hands down, Japan will always be destination we all love and would want to go back.) If we will have a vote, I'll be outvoted for Taiwan Airport to transit, but what can they do, I'm a fan girl and hoard Korean Skincare products like crazy, so Incheon Airport is it! Saranghae! Cheers! ;-D

#ChicSassyMomFinds | Father's Day Gift Ideas

Hello, friends!  Awww, it will be my JB Oppa's day soon. It's always challenging for me to get my hubby gift for whenever. He's just very picky particular, in a nice way, don't get me wrong. ☺️ He likes specific scents, colors and prints. So if I want it easy, like this time, I just make him choose since he's very much vocal on what he likes or doesn't anyhow (me too πŸ™‹πŸ»). While it's hard to surprise him that way, but still less ordinary and personalised gifts for Father's Day seems to do the trick.

So far, here's a run through of what I got him and tried to gift him, but to some, he just beats mo to it. Oh well.✌🏻

Watch is always a good idea. It seems for him, one can never have too many of them (just like how I'm with bags πŸ‘œ). Tag Heuer Watch. I like the brand, so I'm giddy when we do his and hers. He got this from our recent Singapore
Happy much. Happy hubby, happy life. πŸ˜‚
Nike Jordan Shoes.  He hoards Jordan and Kobe shoes. He can never have enough (me too πŸ™‹πŸ»).
Here's a Lock and Lock Water Bottle I got for all of us.

Here are more gift selections from Gifts Less Ordinary.
Very nice.  I love personalised gifts. I feel that they're extra special since they're well-thought of, and feels like they're just made for you.
... and when all else fails, "Me time" at Best Buy works like magic
Though he's usually happy to just settle with TLC (tender loving care)πŸ˜‚, we love you, Daddy JB, but still, we got him a Father's Day gift.

Father and Son. Love you.
To the very special men, my dad and Chaseyboys' Dad, we love you to the moon and back. Happy Father's Day!  Cheers! ;-D
