Japan Travel Part 1: Highlights of #Christmas2015 #NewYear2016 in Japan #MtFuji

Konnichiwa! Happy New Year! ;-D

Hope everyone had a great family time over the course of Christmas break. We had a wonderful time, and I can't wait to fangirl about everything Japanese. My, my, we're officially turning Japanese (only for travel destination, I am still a hopelessly devoted Korean drama fangirl ;-D). Anyhow, we had total of 9 amazing days in Japan...Osaka,Tokyo, Kanazawa and Kyoto, been there, done that. Yay!

We're pleasantly broke, chubbier cheeks and all, but we had the grandest time. Here are few of many highlights of our trip.

A check off our bucket list, see Mt. Fuji.

Lucky. On our way to Tokyo from Osaka aboard the Shinkansen, I was star struck with this wondrous scene. Mt. Fuji along Shin-Fuji Station. With this wonderful sign, I know 2016 is ours for the taking. Thank You, Lord.
We initially devoted a day trip to Hakone to see Mt. Fuji, really lucky that we had the chance to see it. My husband on his previous trip, spent a visit to Shin Fuji station to catch a glimpse, only to be disappointed. (There is basically nothing much to do in Shin Fuji. Via Shinkansen, it's another 1 hour from Tokyo Station (2 hours from Shin-Osaka Station, without Japan Rail Pass, it comes with a hefty cost of about 10K Yen roundtrip. I will do a separate post about Japan Rail Pass.)

Shibuya Crossing. And yes, we did several walks and runs. I had a video of Chaseyboy, my son, running across all sides of the intersection. Teehee ;-D From Shinjuku JR Station, take the Yamanote Line to Shibuya.
Creating Memories. #Love
Osaka is love. Glico Running Man along Dotonbori River.
Amazing Shinkansen Rides. The JR Pass allowed us to take Shinkansen all we like all over Japan. #Daebak
From my track record of my previous Korea Trip, of the four days I stayed there, I had about 6 posts, so will probably have a lot more this time, please stay tuned for more Japan ravings. Cheers! ;-D

About Me

My photo

Wifey to JB and Mommy to Chasey :) It's said that one's eyes are windows to one's soul. True! My eyes twinkle when I'm happy, they light up with my smile. I’m no frills! I'm easy to read (except during Poker). I easily get teary eyed on practically both happy and sad things. I'm overly emotional! UP,Toy Story 3, and Glee made me cry with delight. My hubby is my source of strength. He balances that side of my personality. He made me a more self-reliant person.I love being a mom. But be it known that I tend to be OC, paranoid, and definitely see my self as a stage mom.I can't help but throw him parties every year.I love to read. If there is a lifetime membership to Book Lover's Club, I've probably signed in as early as Grade 1. I'm blessed to have a special relationship with God. He is my confidante. I practically talked to him anywhere and anytime about anything. I'm a Kapampangan and supposedly known for having culinary skills. This still needs to be found perfected, but for sure, I can say I'm a gourmand!I love to eat and it shows!Oh well!Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder and Happiness is only a state of mind. From today onwards, I intend to live in a Happy Mode!Cheers!
