Seoul-ful Food | Seoul Travel

Annyeong! ^_^

I love, love, love Korean food. I swear in my past life, I was a Seoulite. I must be. Please indulge me. *Teehee

Jal meokkesseumnida (I will eat well)! For our first night, we ate at this restaurant along Myeongdong.

Mandu (dumplings), Seafood Pancake, Chicken and beer, Buddae Jjigae. #Yum
Second day was city tour, and it was mostly coffee shops and street food for us. We went to Han River. Yay! #HappyDance

Third day was Korean Folk Village tour. I reckon that it's a Korean Drama fangirl must-do. It's reconnecting with our oppas and reminiscing fave Korean historical drama. Annyeong, Lee Joon Gi oppa! *Teehee

The fangirls were hungry, so before taking our bus back to the city, we found this interesting restaurant in front of the bus stop.

Yukgaejang (Beef Soup) and Sundaeguk for KRW 7000 each. Interesting. Since we really had no choice because that's all they have and we're very, very hungry. I ended up doing my own bibimbap (mixed rice) using what we have, kimchi, tofu, greens and gochujang (chili pepper paste). Soup for the soul, warmed us during the rainy day.
Saturday dinner was in Itaewon. Oops, still pleasantly tired and hungry from the Korean Folk Village trip, I have no food pix plus the place was cozy dark.

My Thai-China is a fusion restaurant by Celebrity Restaurateur, Hong Seok-Cheon
With my Seoul Sisters. Mommy Wendy of treated us dinner. Kamsahamnida, chinggu! ^_^  Best Spiciest Tom Yum Soup ever. Good food and great company.
Save the best for last... Chicken (Dak) Galbi in Yoogane in Myeongdong.

Marinate Chicken Galbi & Assorted Seafood for KRW 32,000 (for 3-4 pax).
Best Korean Fried Rice ever. Promise. There was an option to add cheese. (Next time, I will try that!) So yes, Yoogane can't be missed when in Seoul.
Jal meogeosseumnida (I ate well)!

Psst...this is blog post no. 7 and I only visited Seoul for 4 days. *Teehee But wait, more to come. Missing Seoul so bad. I can't wait to go back again. Let's go! Cheers! ^_^
