King Chef of Lucky Chinatown Celebrates First Year Anniversary

It's a pleasure to be part of the momentous celebration of King Chef Seafood Restaurant of Lucky Chinatown located in the heart of Manila Chinatown, Binondo. Last June 8, King Chef celebrated its 1st Year Anniversary. Much like a first birthday Chinese tradition, it was commemorated with an auspicious fanfare with its signature sumptuous food offering fit for a royalty.

Happy First Year Anniversary King Chef!
Everybody's Welcome Here. King Chef Seafood Restaurant prides itself with heartwarming gastronomic feasting, just the perfect place for celebrations. It speaks of an ambiance that is more inviting than intimidating; more elegant than snobbish; spacious yet warm.
Elegant Table Setting
Let's feast! And the royal dining experience begins...

Row 1, L-R: Assorted Cold Cuts Combination, Dumplings on Seafood Spinach Soup, Deep Fried Suahe with Salted Egg. Row 2, L-R: Stir Fried Kung Pao Chicken, Fried Spareribs with Eight Spices, Stuffed Eggplant in Japanese Sauce. Row 3, L-R: Fried King Fish in Mango Sauce, Typhoon Shelter Crabs, Birthday Noodles
The culinary feasting started with the parade of the waiters. It's such a delight to feel the impeccable customer service of King Chef. It's also a heartwarming treat to hear, and then to actually experience firsthand from the people of King Chef of just how much TLC (Tender Loving Care ^_^) that each and every one of them put in their roles (from the owners, to the chef, down to the waiters). The commitment to delight their customers is commendable. As for this event, personally, it was one of the most lavish and flavorful Chinese sit down meal we had. My personal favorites are the Deep Fried Suahe with Salted Egg, the Fried Spareribs with Eight Spices, and the Typhoon Shelter Crabs.  As expected, a Chinese feasting starts with a dish served first, then one dish to another served in intervals. Pacing is a key. ;-D So it was quite a nice way to bond. In between dishes, guests were entertained with games, intermission numbers, and celebratory speeches.

The classic Almond Jelly repackaged! Hello Fishy Fishy! ^_^  Entertaining and Delightfully Tasty. #MustTryDessert
Mango Balls. Equally sweet and delicious, also must try dessert at King Chef.
With Marites Apiado-Ang of King Chef. Thank you! ^_^
Indeed, the culinary adventure at King Chef is like no other. It offers a lasting appreciation of Cantonese Cuisine. I can't wait to bring the whole family to King Chef.  Xiรจxiรจ! ^_^

About Me

My photo

Wifey to JB and Mommy to Chasey :) It's said that one's eyes are windows to one's soul. True! My eyes twinkle when I'm happy, they light up with my smile. I’m no frills! I'm easy to read (except during Poker). I easily get teary eyed on practically both happy and sad things. I'm overly emotional! UP,Toy Story 3, and Glee made me cry with delight. My hubby is my source of strength. He balances that side of my personality. He made me a more self-reliant person.I love being a mom. But be it known that I tend to be OC, paranoid, and definitely see my self as a stage mom.I can't help but throw him parties every year.I love to read. If there is a lifetime membership to Book Lover's Club, I've probably signed in as early as Grade 1. I'm blessed to have a special relationship with God. He is my confidante. I practically talked to him anywhere and anytime about anything. I'm a Kapampangan and supposedly known for having culinary skills. This still needs to be found perfected, but for sure, I can say I'm a gourmand!I love to eat and it shows!Oh well!Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder and Happiness is only a state of mind. From today onwards, I intend to live in a Happy Mode!Cheers!
