Review: Innisfree Apple Juicy Cleansing Oil

Annyeonghaseyo! I have more Lee Min Ho Innisfree goodness to share. I have this from my not so recent Seoul shopping c/o Mommy Wendy. It's a GWP. Every so often, when I run out of my ever reliable waterproof eye makeup remover, I reach for this. Not to preempt, but it does the trick of removing usually hard to remove eye mascara.

Innisfree Apple Juicy Cleansing Oil 25ml
Product Description: This deep cleansing oil offers softness and healthy radiance to your skin like a freshly washed apple.

From what I reckon, naturally it has Vitamin C, and can clean and purify without leaving makeup and oily residues. Innisfree similarly is a brand that espouses natural ingredients. I use a lot of other Innisfree products for my intricate skincare routine. So yes, it's a brand that I really like too.

Full Size comes in 150ml bottle, for 13,000 KRW.

Recommended Usage:  Apply an appropriate amount onto dry hands and gently smooth over dry face to dissolve makeup. Add water with fingertips and massage to remove makeup. Rinse off with lukewarm water afterwards.

I use it solely for removing eye makeup. I usually use cotton pads, I run out. So regular cotton balls will do for now, but you have to flatten it out so as not to use a lot of the oil. Because the cotton needs to be really soaked with oil. I used two cotton balls per eye, one under my eye, for cushion and  reinforcement in getting all the makeup, top and bottom. And so as not to get more makeup under the eye. With eyes shut close, I let the other cotton stay for about 60 seconds, then ever so gently work itself in removing the mascara and makeup.

Oh excuse my brows, I have yet to go to Benefit. Top: With Majolica Majorca Mascara, Urban Decay Shadow as liner. Middle:  Immediately after Innisfree Apple Juicy Cleansing Oil. To note, Urban Decay is a bit hard to remove as well. Bottom: After regular facial foaming wash, Innisfree Jujubija Facial Foam. Washed on regular water temperature.
Seriously, it does the trick. No oily residue at all. Best part, no cloudy vision at all. No stinging. So it's definitely a keeper. It's fresh apple scented. Just the right scent, lingers, but doesn't overpower.

The Skin Shop and The Majolica Majorca are waterproof, and uber hard to remove. Let's see.
After rubbing. The UD Eye Pencil was gone. After Innisfree Apple Juicy Cleansing Oil, all gone! Notice that there's no redness too, because the pressure was still ever so gently applied but it still worked.
Overall, I'd like to say that this is a definitely a better option than Skin Food's Black Sugar Cleansing Oil. In as much as I love SkinFood, I have to go for Innisfree's Apple Juicy Cleansing Oil in this line. Same bottle concept, same fruity scented with Vitamin C and other reinforced skin benefits from the natural ingredients. Both also offer deep cleansing, and pore purifying a la squeaky clean feel. Minus the cloudy vision in Innisfree's. So yes, it's a keeper! Will I repurchase? Oh well, since I only have limited access to Innisfree in my part of the world, I'm seriously considering pre-ordering to online local sellers. In fact, this is a more economical alternative than going for makeup tissue removers. So yes, will definitely get the full size. Cheers! ;-D
