Swim Time and #FangirlMode: BackStreet Boys at Edsa Shangri-la

Hi there. Last Sunday, thanks to my sister, who's staying at Edsa Shangri-la Hotel, we were able to have a super fan fun day! We're aware of the NKOTBSB (New Kids on the Block and BackStreet Boys) impending concert that day. Lucky, some if not all of them, were housed at Shangri-la, I tried to ask one of the OVATION guy about details on Nick Carter, he's all hush hush about it. My sister actually called in a super excited mode that his husband was up close and personal with one of the boys of BSB on their breakfast at HEAT. He realized too late until ladies started asking for photo opportunities. I hurried Chase along, with Shangri-la Hotel just a few blocks away from where we live. We spent half a day swimming. Only to find out later on our check out, that the Boys spent quite a few moments of walking around the hotel lobby earlier that day.
Swim Time at Edsa Shangri-la Hotel...with my now favorite floral swimsuit tube top one-piece swimsuit, and the Speedo-outfitted Chase. And yes, we also got him a pair of ear plugs from Speedo.
Happy Much. The slide is for kids 4ft and above, Chase is almost about that height, so he had to show the lifeguard that he knows how to swim to be allowed access to the pool slide. Great that he knows how.
Let the sunshine in. Thankfully, the sun was out last Sunday.
A peek at Edsa Shangri-la's Hotel Toiletries.
Something unique...a hair band for hotel's amenities.
I'm not too lucky on coming across super famous celebrities, 7 years ago, I missed the original Taiwanese F4 at the HongKong airport by a few seconds. So I wasn't conditioned to see anyone that famous by chance, until when we noticed that upon our checkout, some ladies were starting to camp, and the OVATION guys were there too. But with some series of unfortunate events, my iPhone was dead, and so was my sister's phone, the iPad was at 10% battery life. #Epicfail While waiting for our bags, we waited along with them, demurely LoL*. And then there's a commotion, one guy went down, I didn't see him, because I froze while trying to take a picture, the iPad camera was on a front camera mode, I panicked and totally missed him. He went inside the resto. My sister was scolding me. LoL*

Since we're basically hotel guests, we came closer to the elevator area, and that's when Howie of BackStreet Boys went down, sweetly motioned the super demure crowd, us, for lunch since he was on his way to the resto, like a giddy fangirl I waved a la beauty pageant wave! LoL* While my sister froze and forgot to take picture too. Haha! ;-D
Awwww... I missed it! But, for what it's worth, was happy to see one of them up close. So major emote now, when I sing along the BackStreet Boys songs. ;-D
We wanted to go back and stalk and wait for most of them, just before they check out, which was imminent that time, but hubby was waiting for us, and my bro-in-law was rushing us to leave the hotel. Oh well... Hmmm, which made me think how I might act crazy when I'm up close to one of my Korean Drama idols (Lee Joon Gi, Lee Min Ho, Choi Siwon, Kim Hyun Joong, and Jo Hyun Jae). I'm a fangirl, and very proud! Cheers! LoL*

Grabe! If I was in your shoes, I would have done the same thing lang din and waved at Howie. Hehehe!

Sweet naman nya. But I've always thought of him as one of the more approachable and sweeter ones sa BSB. You just confirmed my belief. =)

True, he was sweet! :) I was hoping to catch Nick Carter though. Too bad, had to leave. Sad to miss it, hope for a part 2. I watched the video, seemed super fun. :))

I'm easy to read (except during Poker). I easily get teary eyed on practically both happy and sad things. I'm overly emotional! UP,Toy Story 3, and Glee made me cry with delight. My hubby is my source of strength. He balances that side of my personality. He made me a more self-reliant person.I love being a mom. But be it known that I tend to be OC, paranoid, and definitely see my self as a stage mom.I can't help but throw him parties every year.I love to read.
