Heading off to Clarkfield Pampanga anytime soon...just in time for the upcoming 2011 Philippine Hot Air Balloon Festival (February 11 to 13),  or just wanting to dine and unwind any day of the week?  Happily, my family just found the perfect away from home, get away destination, and it's happily located few kilometers away from home. ❤ Missing Iloilo ❤

How time really flies...few more days, February 2011 will be around the corner..when everything will be absolutely sooh Red! ❤ There's so much fanfare awaiting February, there's the Chines New Year and the similarly anticipated Valentine's Day.  Before I let the month of January 2011 pass me by, I wanted to do some reminiscing...because for the past three years except this year, every January, we were actually going to Iloilo for our yearly vacation. Although we went there a month earlier (December 2010), I can't help but feel a little bit sad, because we had to miss the Dinagyang Festival, and then of course the yummy but surprisingly cheap food that Iloilo has to offer. And so I say...Namit Gid! ♨ ...in Hiligaynon means Really Delicious! :-)

Happy Weekend! I'm not really fond of spamming friends via texts or mails...but I know when one deserves forwarding, and this goes by...

MANDATORY REMINDER from CNN: NASA reports that by the next 10 months, earth gets hotter by 4 degrees from now. Himalayan glaciers are melting at rapid rate. Our climate is changing drastically & it's getting worst. We must help fight Global Warming by doing the ff steps:

1. Plant more trees 

2. Don't waste water 

3. Use cloth bag and don't burn plastic.

Hallyu Love #1...blogging my KCulture fascination! I ❤! ✌

Annyeonghaseyo! :-) ...it means hello! in Korea!

I won't even start to pretent to be an expert in Korean Culture, because what I know about is mainly from my Korean Drama obsession! I haven't even been to Seoul for goodness sake!  I know common Korean phrases because of the Kdramas I so watch passionately! So what makes me write about a basic topic about it?! Oh well! It's basically my fascination with the culture that my love-hate relationship with it progressed over the years! And when you're in that position, you just suddenly found yourself "expert" about it! I just know because I  ♥ everything (well, almost!) about the Korean Culture! That by the way is what Hallyu wave supposedly means!

Sun Kissed Fun at Boracay Island Philippines

The year 2010 is really a blessed year for our family. It brought much fanfare and travel opportunities for us, here and elsewhere in the world. We started our travel adventure last January for a trip to Boracay, and so it seemed timely that we ended our travel fun, sun, sand & tan at Boracay once again.

Probiotic Drinks--Everyday OK! ✌

Everybody, everyday... OK! :-)

Few days ago my son had a sudden attack of diarrhea, and he actually started to complain of feeling too full even though he didn't really had a lot! :-( That time, since non-working holidays already started, I prayed that it would not worsened to avoid a trip to the ER. I've been told not to give any medicines for diarrhea to my son, at least like the ones that are commercially sold and advertised. This is to make sure that whatever toxins he ingested, if any, would be out of his digestive system. So we actually have to weather these episodes. Hydrating is the key word! Well, my son likes Gatorade than the oral hydrates available, so I gave in to this rare occasion....and as always aqua! :-)

♥Korean Stew Budae Jjigae♥

Annyeonghaseyo! ✌ (is the formal way of saying Hello in Korean!) I just had another good lunch...it's actually DIY (Do It Yourself) Korean Lunch --Japchae and Budae Jjigae!♨ Heaven!

After a visit to Chuk Buk, my favorite Korean Store in Angeles City. I got Kimchi, glass noodle and shitake mushroom. I'm all set! :-)...In the end, my Japchae was okay, so so!... I think I overcooked my noodles! :-(... but my Budae Jjigae was almost as close to Salt's version! :-)

Salt is the restaurant of Hotel Vida. My family loves hanging out in the hotel for swimming, gym and dining. We all have our own favorites in Salt. My son's enjoys eating the Frankfurter Sandwich, of course mine is Budae Jjigae. :-) The Kimchi of Salt is also one of my favorite Kimchi vs. various the Korean restaurants and other commercially sold that I tried. Salt's Kimchi is aged perfectly...salty, sour & hot! :-)...I do love my Korean dish hot & spicy! ✌

Thankfully my January 3, my first Monday of the year turned out better than last night! Let's just say that I got addicted to something yesterday that was really a waste of money and energy, although it provided me a momentary adrenaline rush! I totally got ripped off! :-(...okay, I'm totally moving on!

Going back, I feel like singing and officially starting my year by getting a diamond peel! Lucky me!!! ... the best part, it's for free! :-) Well, thank you Vida Circle Club for  your thoughtful token of appreciation!

I tried getting Diamond Peel for 3 different beauty clinics, one was even from a dermatologist in The Medical City...and the Diamond Peel of E-Derm, which was valued for Php 1000 ($23) by far now tops my list!!! :-)
