NYX Haul and more at the Philippine Cosmetics Expo 2011

Oh my, it's just day 3 of September, and I think I'm almost about to reach my retail therapy threshold for the month. Oh well! Yesterday, I spent a lavish amount of "me" time at SM Megamall and Rockwell Powerplant. I was able to achieve several feats... my first haul at Digital Traincase, and my mini Tony Moly haul. And of course, I did more than 10,000 steps for the day, which was my greatest feat for the day.

I *heart*! I even got a gift with purchase from Ms. Sol of Digital Traincase. ^^ Glad I was able to make it early so I was able to almost get my color selections from the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream. It was NYX Swatch overload indeed! ;-D
I was one of the early bird to the event. True, early bird catches the worm I even won in the raffle...goodies from Hapee! ;-D
The very busy Digital Traincase booth. The no. 1 destination, methinks! ;-D
Entrance to the Expo is free. Among the exhibitors are Lorys Hair Cream (I got a small tub for only P100), HBC, Kolours, Hapee, Mary Kay, Doll Face Cosmetics, and several SME's (Small Medium Enterprise) on the cosmetics field. There was an ongoing raffle for the day for every Php 300 single receipt purchase. I got a handful from my Digital Traincase purchase, and I just made it back in time for the 3:00 pm raffle draw. Also, I had two sessions of complimentary hand spa's. Since I had time, I tried the Mary Kay's Satin Hands demo. And then, while window shopping, I tried the Dead Sea's hand scrubs. My hands felt uber pampered yesterday.
My Tony Moly Finds (not in the expo, shop in the Megamall)...Kiss Kiss Lip Scrup, Charcoal Nose Pack, Egg Pore Silky Smooth Balm, and Tomatox trial packs. ;-D
After spending 6 hours in SM Megamall, I went to Rockwell to meet up with my hubby. Aranaz Bags are on SALE at 50% yesterday and today only, I think. I'm so tempted, but I don't want to over indulge. I spent the rest of my time, walking, window shopping, and sipping my favorite Red Grape Shake and munching on some potato chips at Cibo. ;-D

Red Grape Shake and Potato Chips. ;-D
I have several products to review now. :-D I have few more from The Skin Shop. Although, make ups are easier to review than Skin Care products since with skincare lines, you have to take time in testing them out. But since I'm no makeup guru yet, I have to do some cramming on advance eye make ups, and I stay at home most of the time, no dress up opportunities.  LoL. So it will probably take time too. Speaking of Skin Care, I'm in search for a new moisturizer, since I just exhausted my escargot fix from The Skin Shop Recovery Solution Cream . The Tony Moly's Snail Cream line is so tempting, and so does the new The Face Shop's skin care line. I'm off to do a bit of research, before I get one. What's your moisturizer (night and day cream)? Please do share, I'm in need of recommendations. My skin is combination (oily today, dry the next day), and sensitive.

I just wanted to do a jiffy post. I still owe you the winner of my Korean Cosmetics Giveaway, since I just came from another burial today, I'll be on it asap. Indeed, life is short. Live. Laugh. Love.

About Me

My photo

Wifey to JB and Mommy to Chasey :) It's said that one's eyes are windows to one's soul. True! My eyes twinkle when I'm happy, they light up with my smile. I’m no frills! I'm easy to read (except during Poker). I easily get teary eyed on practically both happy and sad things. I'm overly emotional! UP,Toy Story 3, and Glee made me cry with delight. My hubby is my source of strength. He balances that side of my personality. He made me a more self-reliant person.I love being a mom. But be it known that I tend to be OC, paranoid, and definitely see my self as a stage mom.I can't help but throw him parties every year.I love to read. If there is a lifetime membership to Book Lover's Club, I've probably signed in as early as Grade 1. I'm blessed to have a special relationship with God. He is my confidante. I practically talked to him anywhere and anytime about anything. I'm a Kapampangan and supposedly known for having culinary skills. This still needs to be found perfected, but for sure, I can say I'm a gourmand!I love to eat and it shows!Oh well!Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder and Happiness is only a state of mind. From today onwards, I intend to live in a Happy Mode!Cheers!
