Majolica Majorca Lash Enamel Glamour Volume On

Majolica Majorca Lash Enamel Glamour Volume On BK999 Php 795
It's probably no surprise that this will be my next review from my prelude on my previous post here. I had this for quite some time, and already used it for several times. Hmmm, but I don't really know what to make of it yet.  It's my first Majolica Majorca mascara. While I'm captivated with their elegant emblems from their packaging artwork, (just makes me want to hoard several of their lines), the brand has garnered quite a handful of raving praises from all over. So yes, I love things that are pretty and functional.

It has this unique applicator solid comb, which has two varying size of teeth comb, one for definition and other for more separated lashes per se.
The packaging has also a manufacturing date indicated for your guidelines. Although, there's no English translation on the packaging, there's a leaflet included inside in English covering product description, usage, reminders, and even ingredients.
Although, not much difference in terms of volume. Except that the mascara provided a more intense black shade.
So true! There's a dramatic difference with my before and after look! Please note that I didn't even curl my lashes. :-D
Product Description of the Majolica Majorca Lash Enamel Glamour Volume on:
Achieves lustrous, high-impact, super ultra-thick lashes in a single stroke! A volume-building mascara that lets you achieve desired thickness with a double comb.
What's to ❤?
  • Can curl or even hold curls for that matter. I don't curl my lashes because I tend to get red eyes after. :( But thankfully, this one does a dramatic lifting/curling and lengthening.
  • Non eye irritant. Even amidst my klutzy eye poking experiences while sweeping the brush over my lashes. LoL.
  • It's smudge proof. Once it dries and settles, they're here to stay. They don't even smudge my eye glasses unlike others, because of the sudden increase in lengths, my lashes can reach my eye glasses.
Neutral on Volume: Except for the lashes to be more defined with the intense black shade. I don't see dramatic difference in terms of volume. Do you?

What's not to ❤?
  • I don't know, if it's my amateurish skills, but when I used the comb, it tends to be wet than usual, and tends to clump. So I actually comb, wait, comb, and wait, until the formula settles. My previous try, I used another mascara brush to separate the lashes,  it works fine.
  • I find it time consuming to apply, fine with me, most of the time, since I have a time to spare. So it's not really a single stroke application. But no frills me junkie is a bit complaining.
  • It's a bit challenging to remove, as in. I used three brands of oil-based makeup remover. I'll make an update which of them actually does the job best.
Round Eyes ala Bambi Eyes and all (Thanks for the pretty author of Squeeze the Pug for the greatest compliment ever for my eyes!), while wearing the Majolica Majorca Mascara! ;-D
Overall, it take a steady hand, practice, practice, and practice to get the best results. At first try, I thought it was okay, until a friend mentions that it's a bit wet still, so I used a finer-toothed finishing mascara brush after. For the second time, it was fine. Then yesterday, it dried faster before I can find my other mascara brush, so the photo documentation for this review is 100% Majolica Mascara Mascara comb. I'm so embracing my "bambi" eyes now, I usually feels the odd one out with my son and hubby having chinky eyes, but not anymore. I need more lengthened and defined curls, maybe a winged eye line too for that pretty doe eyes effect. ;-D The Majolica Majorca Lash Enamel Glamour Volume on does its share to deliver that dramatic effect, so I'll happily get to know it better.  Will I repurchase? I want to try the other Majolica Majorca mascaras just for better benchmarking.

@Gellie: Aww, thanks! It's a pleasure. True, it's kinda pricey for me too. Good thing hubby paid for it. And I'm sure you can pull this off better than I did.

@Ladymishel: Oh I read from your post that you attended a workshop from Majolica Majorca, too bad, I would have wanted to join. :)

@Marge: Aww, thanks for dropping by. :) I'm sure, since you're already an expert, you can pull this off. I have some drawbacks with this, hopefully with practice. I can discover more of its magic. ;-)
