Dealing with Cradle Cap or Seborrheic Dermatitis

When Chase was 3 month old he got a bad episode of Seborrheic Dermatitis. It started out like few break out rashes on his face on his first month, so we visited a pediatrician within the area, he prescribed a anti-allergy medication. Even after we finished the medication period, it did not clear up. He got rashes in his face and would eventually end up like scabs, and when they peel/heal, they would leave a white-like mark. On his head, he had like the worst case of dandruff. So we decided to take a drive to his Pediatrician in Manila, only to be told that it was Seborrheic Dermatitis or "Cradle Cap". We can only wait it out until they clear up, or clean it with baby oil.

Getting Started with Blogging

This is not my first blog site, it's actually my third...the first one was with Friendster so I did not really care about the templates, the second one was listed on as my other page that covers mainly everything under the sun...but this so far was the hardest for me to start. I got so focused on finding the template I wanted to use. The template I'm using now is a work in progress. It took me 2 days before I got acquainted with the HTML codes. I wanted to mention sites though that really help me get started.

10 Things I'm Most Thankful for as a Mom

Motherhood they say it's a natural thing...but, I'm grateful for these 10 simple items that made it more uncomplicated. I did experience Trial and Error in choosing what brands will work for us, I also consider asking help and recommendations from other moms. These book collections are like my coffee table books. By reading them, it seems that I'm a walking "expert" and an instant medical practitioner. Even now that Chase is past the toddler years, I refer on the Ready Reference Portions of the What to Expect the Toddler Years by Eisenberg, Murkoff, and Hathaway.

2. Philips Avent Bottles & Sterilizer

The sterilizer is very efficient and very durable. It's very easy to use and to maintain. We had the Express Electric Sterilizer. The Avent Bottles were perfect companion for bottle feeding by its clinical claim on reducing colic. As my son grows, we were able to easily shift the bottle nipples to soft spouts.
